SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS

TŌNUI Collab invites tamariki to discover, explore and create during the holidays.
This year we are partnering with local communities, groups and community spaces to bring new and improved holiday STEMM workshops to Te Tairāwhiti.

CLUB

Tōnui Collab has joined the  RAD* initiative.

*RAD = Recycle a Device

Rangatahi are supported to develop the skills to refurbish laptops. Refurbished laptops are gifted to rangatahi and whānau in the community to address digital inequity.

KŌHINE 
ROBOTICS

TŌNUI Collab is supporting teams of Year 6 - 9 girls from kura across Te Tairāwhiti to experiment with VEX IQ Robotics so that they might compete in the global VEX IQ Robotics competition.

AFTER SCHOOL CODE CLUB

TŌNUI Collab invites
7-13 year old coding enthusiasts to join us at our STEMM Lab one afternoon a week during the school term to experiment with different programming languages to create games and other digital  experiences.

TŌNUI Collab supports the Tairāwhiti Arts Festival by designing digital art workshops for tamariki and rangatahi.

TŌNUI Collab design innovative workshops that support the Tech Week kaupapa of 'Tech for Good'. Offerings change each year, Tōnui Collab's 2023 Tech Week  programme coming soon.

TŌNUI Collab creates opportunities for young women aged 10 - 18 to work collaboratively to develop an app that solves community problems.
