Service Description
Tamariki will play some retro arcade-style games with us and then start collaboratively designing and building their own retro arcade-style game. The workshop will cover game narrative, block-based coding, character creation, UX design, and iterative design methodologies. Tamariki will be able to share their games with friends and whānau after the workshop. Tōnui Collab's July school holiday STEMM workshops run from 9am-3pm at the Lawson Field Theatre Rose Room, 7 Fitzherbert Street, for tamariki aged 7-13 years. Our STEMM workshops encourage children to get excited by technology and our mission is to support tamariki to build confidence through inquiry, investigation and experimentation.
Cancellation Policy
We have a 48 hour cancellation policy, should you need to cancel for any reason or should our workshop not reach minimum booking numbers a full credit / refund will be provided.
