2-hour STEMM Workshop

Tōnui Collab creates engaging STEMM* learning opportunities for taitamariki across Te Tairāwhiti. Our mission is to create opportunities for our young people to explore the diversity of STEMM* in an innovative and encouraging environment. * STEMM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths, Mātauranga Māori. We are reo rua STEMM specialists and our STEMM workshops are taught in reo Māori and/or English. STEMM exploration ranges from animation to electronic engineering, digital art, game development to animation, coding and computational thinking, augmented reality to virtual reality. Our two-hour STEMM workshops, hosted at our purpose-built lab on the Mātai Research Campus at 466 Childers Road cost $3 per child thanks to the funding support from the Ministry of Education as part of their Enriching Local Curriculum (ELC) initiative. We have a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 taitamariki for each two-hour workshop. If your class is smaller or larger than that, please contact us directly to discuss options. Cancellation Policy
Tōnui Collab School STEMM Workshops Tōnui Collab workshop bookings are for a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 students, please contact us if your student numbers are outside this range. Schools will be invoiced at the end of the term. Tōnui Collab has a 72 hour cancellation policy. Should you need to cancel for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible and we will follow up your cancellation to discuss reschedule availability. Tōnui Collab often take photos during workshops to use for promotional purposes, by making this booking, you give permission for photos and videos to be used in this way. Please advise us if you do not want photos taken and used in this way. Tōnui Collab utilises SMS notifications to send workshop reminders, by completing your booking, you agree to receiving these SMS notifications.
